Setting up a session for stereo piano
In this chapter, you will demonstrate your ability to set up and achieve a recording session in 207B for a pianist. You will need to find a pianist to perform a complete song. You may add additional tracks or vocals or other accompaniment if desired. The final product must highlight your stereo piano recording.

Experiment with a few different miking techniques and spacing until you get the desired results. Keep track of your experimentation miking even if you don't use it in the final project. Add additional vocal, piano or software instrument tracks to accompany this recording.
Final Project
Your completed project will need to be posted to SoundCloud and uploaded to your website with a title and artist statement describing your process in this project.
You will need to cover the following aspects:
- Create a project with 2 audio tracks, input 1 for the bass and input 2 for the treble, wall mount 17 and 18
- Use the configuration outlined in the best practices page for two mics
- Use the Audio Technica AT4033/CL
- Create a cue mix for the headphone amplifier
- Set appropriate gain levels for each mic
- Apply an EQ setting for your piano track
- Add at least on effect on your piano track
